~ Franchised coffee never tasted so authentic ~

Environment:

Late 2012, another Korean titan (besides Samsung and Hyundai) has arrived in Malaysia. Coffea Coffee opens its first outlet in heart of Bangsar, and as of now it has expanded to 4 outlets throughout the Klang Valley (refer to below for location).

A multi-award winning establishment, Coffea Coffee roasts their own blends using a selection of beans from seven top producing farms around the globe including Brazil, Guatemala, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sumatra, Colombia, Costa Rica. Coffea Coffee is also an official member of Cup Of Excellence, the most prestigious award given to a fine quality coffee.

Coffea Coffee follows a warehouse-like setup utilizing a lot of timber / hardwood flooring and metal bars. Together with the dim lightings, it gives out a cozy and warm ambiance.

Coffea Coffee has a membership program which you could purchase with RM 15.00. With the membership card, every purchase regardless of food or beverage will be discounted by 10% off the total bill.

Food & Beverage:
When ordering any type of coffee here, you are provided the choice to choose between two different blends featured by Coffea Coffee: the Madonna (sweet European-style roasted blend that has fruity aroma with a dash of acidity), or the Maestro (classic American--style roasted blend that has strong full body with dark chocolated under-tones).

As expected from world championship title holders, these killer blends are exceptionally smooth, and consistent regardless of which outlets you visit.

Besides the usuals, there is the Hot Belgian Cacao Triple Mocha, which is basically a mocha with triple the cocoa content. Tasty cup for chocolate lovers!

There is also the Espresso Shakerato, which is like an iced Americano, double shots of espresso mix with blended ice using a cocktail shaker.

COE (Cup of Excellence) is a must-try! These coffee are the ones that are given most prestigious award in annual competitions held in several countries to identify the highest quality coffees produced. Prepared through manual drip, the currently available varieties are El Salvador, Honduras, and Rwanda.

Besides coffee, food is also available here including cakes, salads, sandwiches, and other pastries.

Verdict:

Coffea Coffee is no doubt one of the best (if not the best) franchised cafe in Malaysia. Also shortlisted as the Best for Coffee in the Time Out KL Food Awards 2013, Coffea Coffee is a great place for coffee lovers, (regardless if you are a coffee amateur or a coffee connoisseur) to hangout and enjoy great and quality-consistent coffees.
